About Practical AI

Practical AI is a London AI training company run by Ollie Ayton. We run in-person, hands-on AI training for leadership teams on their own real work, usually Claude Cowork, a meeting transcriber and Wispr Flow.

Ollie leads half-day and full-day intensives for founders, MDs and senior teams, in small groups (typically up to 5) or 1:1. We also run larger-group sessions and team rollouts. Ongoing partnerships and bespoke AI builds then help teams keep going. Sessions run across the UK and US, in person where we can, with virtual sessions also available.

Now I use AI every single day to build products, run my business, and help others do the same. I don't teach AI as a technology. I teach it as a way to solve business problems faster.

How we work

## Practice, *not theory.*

- **Hands-on, on your own laptop.** You build real AI tools using your own work. Zero slides about the history of machine learning.
- **70% of each session on your real workflows.** The agenda is built from what you tell us on the discovery call.
- **Small groups, led by Ollie.** Typically up to 5 people per session, or 1:1, in person where possible. We also run larger-group sessions and team rollouts.
- **Principles, not button clicks.** Context engineering, prompt engineering and tool selection, so the skills keep working as the tools change.
- **Not tied to any vendor.** Usually Claude Cowork or ChatGPT Work day to day, Granola for meetings, Wispr Flow for voice, and Claude Code or Codex for technical builds. If something else fits your stack better, we use that.
- **Support after the session.** Two weeks of WhatsApp support after a half-day, and 30 days of follow-up support after a full day.
